As I'm sure all of you know, we recently lost a great man, friend, and
roommate. We'd like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers.
It has meant a lot during this tough time. Many of you have asked us to
let you know if there is anything you can do to help. Well, right now
we kinda find ourselves in a jam, and we do need some help. Marc's
death came at a tough time when it comes to paying our rent. We have
all missed a lot of work due to the recent events, and do not find
ourselves in the best place financially. I'm so grateful that Marc's
parents had services here in San Diego to allow all of his friends out
here a chance to say goodbye, but it did cost them a lot of
money...especially now that they are doing it all over again back in
virginia. We are trying to sell some of his things right now to help
offset his portion of the rent, however it isn't going well. I really
don't like asking for money at a time like this, but we don't know what
else to do.
In filipino culture it is common at a time like
this for friends and family to give donations, called abulay. So please help us with our own "abulay." I know times are tough
right now for everyone, but we'd greatly appreciate any help you could
give. Thank you.
